Judy Collins

Judy Collins has been with NMMI since 1980 and has served in various capacities including Comptroller, Deputy Superintendent for Business Affairs, and the Executive Vice President. She earned a B.B.A. with a major in accounting and an M.B.A. from Eastern New Mexico University, Portales, NM. She was born in Roswell and is a graduate of Dexter High School.
During her tenure at NMMI, she has received the NMMI Meritorious Service Award and the NMMI Distinguished Service Award, the highest award given by NMMI.
She served on the board of First Federal Bank for 10 years, a New Mexico and Texas bank. She is a former director of the United Way of Chaves County, a graduate of the Leadership Roswell program, and Past President of the Roswell Kiwanis Club. She is married to Roy Collins, an oil and gas operator and owner of an oilfield servicing company. Their son, Derrick Hunter Collins, is a student at Goddard High School in Roswell.
